Ever gone to the cinema with someone or even tried to watch a new Netflix movie, that both of you haven’t seen… and then they start talking.
Yes, we all know someone like that in our lives or maybe might even be that very person that just starts talking a lot during a movie.
Some people may see it as an interactive experience, but forget they are in a room with other people like themselves trying to understand and enjoy the film. Studies also show that there may be a psychological reason behind it, where that person may have not been heard in their daily life or simple just not have manners.
Never truly asked someone that talks during a movie why they talk during the movie, as I believe they’ll only talk more.
As someone that loves movies, I believe talking during the movie isn’t best practice but rather after it, where you've had the opportunity to gather your thoughts on the story and the characters and then decide whether you enjoyed it or not.
To the people that talk during a movie.
Stop talking.
